The Role
We are looking for a full-time Practice Nurse Manager to join our Narre Warren medical centre. This is a key leadership position responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the treatment room and nursing services. You will lead and support a dedicated team of nurses, ensuring delivery of safe, effective, and patient-centred care in line with best practice standards.
Working closely with the Practice Manager and General Practitioners, you will play a critical role in coordinating clinical services, managing workflow and resources, and fostering a collaborative, high-performing clinical environment. You will also be responsible for onboarding, mentoring, and upskilling nursing staff, supporting their professional development, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with strong leadership skills, a passion for primary health care, and a commitment to enhancing the patient experience through efficient and compassionate clinical service delivery.

The Tasks
- Provide leadership and effective management to a team of Nurses
- Ensure patient care is provided efficiently and effectively by managing varied clinical procedures as necessary
- Coach, train, and mentor the team, so that they can deliver the best clinical outcomes to all patients
- Maintain the Treatment Room and ensure it is being run efficiently with appropriate staff numbers, following best practice procedures
- Assist the GP with conducting health assessments, GP management plans and reviews
- Work alongside the Practice Manager to understand the levers of profit and loss within the practice and manage their teams accordingly
- Proven Leadership and Management experience
- AHPRA Registered Nurse with prior experience in General Practice
- Strong organisational and time management skills
