Your future role
"Take on a new challenge and apply your supply chain management expertise in a new cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside collaborative and agile team members.
You'll play a pivotal role in shaping and deploying supply chain strategies, ensuring operational excellence, and fostering a robust supply chain culture at all levels. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business (such as material planning, warehousing, and procurement), for this critical part of our organization.Supply Chain professional who has worked in the Rail Industry, with highly developed communication skills, who can draw upon their procurement knowledge, supply chain and problem solving skills to improve and maintain stock availability in supporting and delivering our Xtrap project including material planning, expediting, logistics and warehouse operations

We’ll look to you for:
- Drive people development roadmap including skills assessment, training, and qualification to strengthen supply chain capabilities.
- Prepare and manage functional budgets; oversee end-to-end material planning from delivery schedules to on-time part delivery.
- Establish performance metrics for supply chain tracking
- Develop policies to increase efficiency throughout the supply chain while ensuring quality and safety of delivery.
- Manage inventory supply and forecasting. Driving towards best practice “inventory planning and management” principles to achieve cost objectives as well as excellence in service levels.
- Monitor the performance of suppliers, assessing their ability to meet quality and delivery requirements suppliers in collaboration with other departments
- Build strong collaborative relationships with key functional areas of the business.
- Develop a good working culture that embraces standard operating procedure compliance, continuous improvement, idea generation, innovation and collaboration.
- Establish relationships with global forwarders and suppliers to ensure smooth product supply.

- Hold a Degree in Business or Supply Chain or related discipline.
- Experience within the rail, defence, transportation or manufacturing industry is highly desirable.
- Experience in leading all areas of supply chain from planning through to delivery.
- Relevant experience in Supply Chain ERP Management (Maximo, SAP).
