About the Role
As a Business Development Manager / Solutions Specialist, and under the wing of an experienced Solutions Leader, you will pitch and sell our Agent Solutions products to our Real Estate agency clients in-person across the Brisbane region and virtually across NZ – prospecting new leads, running sales meetings at client offices, negotiating and closing before handing over to Implementations.
You will arrive into this role at an extremely lucrative time – tapping into markets where there’s very little competition and huge customer excitement (NZ), and elsewhere a strong existing pipeline (Brisbane). With uncapped earning potential (+ accelerators), you will build new and existing relationships and become a Proptech product specialist for two of our key platforms, and enjoy opportunities for long-term career progression into other teams within the Domain eco-system.
In a typical day you can expect to:
Create and deliver sales pitches that articulate value to our Real Estate agency customers, and support with technical expertise throughout the sales journey.
Prospect qualified and unqualified leads to arrange in-person sales meetings, including inbound enquiries and existing customers of other Domain products.
Conduct fact-finding conversations and client needs-analysis to determine suitable solutions.
Present in-person to groups of sales agents, negotiate and close sales.
Seek to understand emerging customer needs and scan for market / competitor trends.
Facilitate the sharing of client feedback to Sales, Marketing and Product teams to influence product improvements and new ideas that address client pain points.
Attend sales meetings and corporate roadshows.
Expand your knowledge to become an industry expert within the Real Estate tech solutions space.
Our Ideal Person:
ESSENTIALS:
A strong sales background working in (or with) the Real Estate industry.
Experience with new business development.
Able to commute within a 1 hour radius of Brisbane to visit clients.
Comfortable being client-facing and presenting in sales meetings.
A proactive mindset and hunger for sales.
Valid Australian drivers license and own reliable vehicle (car allowance provided).
NICE TO HAVES:
Tech / Saas industry experience.
Experience implementing technology solutions
Current valid Real Estate Licence
