This is more than a Cellar Door Manager role, it’s a chance to lead from the front at one of South Australia’s most ambitious wine and tourism destinations. Teakle Wines is looking for a strategic, service-led hospitality professional ready to manage, grow and elevate the entire cellar door and direct-to-consumer operation. The Role

Based in Port Lincoln and reporting to the General Manager, the Cellar Door Manager will:

• Lead the day-to-day operations of our cellar door and guest experiences
• Drive wine club sign-ups, visitor conversion rates, and overall sales performance
• Create and deliver signature wine tastings, public events, and member-only experiences
• Manage stock control, POS systems, reporting and compliance requirements
• Onboard, train and develop a high-performing team
• Collaborate on marketing initiatives, social media content, and CRM campaigns
• Represent the business in local tourism and trade networks
• Ensure the venue and grounds are always guest-ready, on-brand, and commercially effective

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives on both strategy and service, with the autonomy to make real impact.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the wine industry.
• Strong knowledge of wine varietals, production methods, and the Australian wine industry.
• Proven track record of excellent leadership in hospitality and sales environments
• Proven track record in Cellar Door or wine sales, event planning, and team management.
• Exceptional customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in inventory management and financial reporting.
• Current RSA certification and a valid driver's license
