Seeking a Capability Lead – Process and Forms Automation to spearhead enterprise automation strategies that drive digital transformation, enhance operational efficiency, and support strategic outcomes of a government department in Brisbane.
You will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of intelligent automation solutions across the organisation. This role requires deep expertise in RPA and AI/ML, with the ability to shape roadmaps, manage end-to-end automation lifecycles, and foster a high-performance culture.

You will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of intelligent automation solutions across the organisation. This role requires deep expertise in RPA and AI/ML, with the ability to shape roadmaps, manage end-to-end automation lifecycles, and foster a high-performance culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead automation initiatives aligned to enterprise IT strategies
- Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and regulatory standards
- Collaborate with data and digital teams to ensure data integrity in automation
- Promote automation adoption and capability uplift across business units
- Stay current on emerging RPA/AI/ML technologies and best practices
- Proven experience in automation leadership
- Certifications in UiPath, AI/ML technologies (Preferred)
- Skilled in tools like Automation Anywhere, Power Automate, Python, Power BI
- Strong stakeholder engagement and Agile delivery experience
- Experience within the government sector will be a plus
