Our Client
Our client is a high-growth, tech-enabled consumer business with operations across five countries and a head office based in Melbourne. Following a recent acquisition, the business has consolidated its market position and is now focused on preparing for a potential capital raise by mid-2026. With positive cashflow on the near-term horizon, the business is proactively investing in financial readiness ahead of the next stage of growth.
The Opportunity
Working directly with senior leadership, this newly created role will support the business through a capital raise readiness phase. Key responsibilities will include:
- Preparation of pro-forma financials and databook analysis (including P&L, balance sheet, net debt, working capital and normalisations)
- Assistance with the collation of key business documentation in preparation for a virtual data room (VDR)
- Identification of potential red flags or material risks that may impact a future raise process
- Cross-functional coordination across finance, commercial and operations teams
This is a three-month contract commencing in August, with the potential to extend based on progress and business needs.
Required Skills & Experience
We are seeking a commercially minded and hands-on finance professional with:
- 4–5 years' experience in Transaction Services, M&A, Corporate Finance, or similar
- A strong analytical skillset with the ability to navigate ambiguity and incomplete data
- Proven capability in building pro-forma financial statements and supporting transaction workstreams
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and written communication skills
Experience in a tech, consumer or multi-entity environment will be viewed favourably.
