As our highly valued Senior Manager, Digital Marketing and Media based in Brisbane CBD, your role will be to lead and mature the digital marketing and media efforts for Great Southern Bank, to acquire and engage customers while also supporting long term brand growth.

This position is responsible for driving ROI through all digital media channels, as well as supporting other business units to utilise digital marketing channels to their fullest extent.

You’ll make an impact by:

  • Being responsible for creating the digital marketing and media strategy from ideation, planning and roadmap development, management, prioritisation and optimisation to meet the desired outcomes for all stakeholders.
  • Collaborating across the Customer Offic e along with our key partners and agencies, you will create and manage our digital media strategies leading to improved brand health, sales and growth.
  • Leadership-partnering, collaborating and co-creating across the Customer Office to ensure we build our brand and engagement across platforms to connect with our audiences, drive competitiveness and performance outcomes which are optimised to maximise value.
  • Being accountable for all digital marketing and media, specifically for the overall performance of Paid Search, Display, Video, Social and Affiliate campaigns, balancing growth with efficiency.
  • Bottom-up campaign strategy, planning and forecasting across all media channels to determine the optimal mix to achieve business targets.
  • Developing and maintaining key data-driven integrations to drive customer growth, engagement and sales conversion, continually advancing marketing data maturity.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key partners including Google, META, major media publishers and affiliate partners, negotiating beneficial commercial terms and agreements.

Do things differently with us

To succeed in this role, you will have:

  • 8 plus years’ marketing experience and business experience in a digital marketing or advertising agency (Financial Services experience desirable).
  • Demonstrated strategic & tactical digital thinking with proven implementation of successful digital marketing strategies.
  • Strong relationship management skills, negotiation skills, and verbal and written communication skills.
  • Thorough understanding of the digital marketing landscape and demonstrated technical knowledge and experience across digital marketing principles, strategies, tactics and processes.
  • Understanding of building end to end digital funnel reporting and on-going management, and continual process and procedure improvements.
  • High attention to detail and demonstrated numerical / financial skills.
  • Ability to multi-task and strong creative skills and ability
