As a leading service provider for Commercial and Industrial Cleaning Services, Menzies is now looking to expand our team with a passionate, qualified, and enthusiastic Full Time Site Supervisor for our commercial contracts within the Newcastle area.

Working days and hours: Monday to Friday, 2.00am-10.00am


ABOUT THE ROLE

This person will directly report to the Contracts Manager and will be responsible for managing a team of cleaners within a key client contract.

We are seeking a motivated and outgoing individual for the position of Cleaning/Site Supervisor for one of our contracts in Newcastle.

The position will focus on profitable contract management, whilst ensuring services are delivered to the specified quality standards and to enhance the company's reputation as a premium service provider.

Main Accountabilities & Responsibilities

The role will involve:
1. Understanding our contractual responsibilities in servicing the contract.
2. Building relationships with our customers and responding to their requirements.
3. Implementing and managing a successful team around you to achieve contractual KPIs.
4. Ensuring that services are delivered within our framework for occupational health, safety and sustainability.
5. Maximising company profitability in achieving the above.
6. Client Liaison
7. Quality Assurance and HSEQ Inspections (Audits)
8. Rostering and organising cleaners for the daily cleaning requirements
9. Perform cleaning duties on site.


Skills/Experience Required

The ideal candidate is likely to have experience in managing cleaning service contracts or possess the following skills:

  • Drivers licence.
  • Strong organisational skills
  • Good relationship building skills
  • Good project management
  • Basic competence in Microsoft Office software i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel
  • WWCC Required
