Responsibilities
Brenntag TA Team
- Transfer purchase requirements into purchase orders and place orders at suppliers.
- Process purchase orders and follow-up and monitor orders.
- Update and administrate relevant purchasing documentation.
- Organise purchasing related communication flow between all relevant interfaces.
- Administrate complaints in the role of a process owner.
- May organise and track inbound logistics and administrate import/export for orders.
- Monitors purchasing thresholds and approval processes including requirements around customer owned inventory;
- Facilitates expired inventory mitigation activities and facilitate correct ordering in line with working capital restrictions.
- Stock/replenishment strategy and execution and inventory turns, doh, expired inventory KPI’s. Review customer forecast on monthly basis for BES BU materials
- Maintains professional attitude and works cross functionally to meet aligned upon supply strategy.
- Supports continuous improvement in the utilization of planning tools and processes.
- Collaborate with commercial team and customer service team to provide good customer experience.
- 3-5 years’ experience in a purchasing/planning/shipping/logistics role
- Working knowledge and experience in distribution and/or logistics preferred
- Experience and knowledge in the chemical or other similar industry advantageous
- Working knowledge of SAP and reputable ERP systems including in-depth understanding of purchase order, planning,
- logistics and warehousing systems essential
- Intermediate to advanced Microsoft skills – particularly Excel
