Analyst Project Co-ordinator

Define the role and responsibilities:

As a Project Coordinator, you will work closely with project managers and cross-functional teams to support the project management activities on the Modern ERP Project.

This role is a great development opportunity to work within an exciting Programme and build on existing project skills working on a transformation journey.

Project Support

  • Assist in planning and coordinating various project activities such as design workshops, Townhalls and other key project activities

  • Assist in preparing presentations and reports for internal and external stakeholders

  • Develop your project management skills by supporting the various teams such as project controls, scheduling and other activities as required

  • Own the management of system access specifically for SharePoint, PowerApps, and ADO for joiners and leavers including governance of the access protocols

  • Share relevant documentation and reports with project teams

  • Shadow senior project managers to gain hands-on experience in project delivery

Communication & Coordination

  • Act as a liaison between project teams, stakeholders, and vendor partners

  • Maintain clear and consistent communication across all project stakeholders

Administrative Support

  • Manage project calendars, coordinate logistics for project-related activities, maintain leave tracker

  • Support procurement processes including purchase orders

  • Ensure compliance with internal processes and project governance frameworks

  • Maintain program distribution lists and access to shared mailbox

Key Consultant Criteria:

  • 5+ years of direct project coordination experience.

  • In depth knowledge of Rio Tinto processes including contractor engagement.

  • Knowledge of purchasing process.

  • Excellent communication skills with a can-do attitude.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

  • Excellent coordination and time management.

  • Ability to work in a global environment.

  • Able to build effective working relationships with peers, vendors, and stakeholders
