Join our high-performing Workers Compensation Claims team in Canberra and take ownership of a dynamic portfolio of personal injury claims. We’re looking for a decisive and driven professional who thrives in a challenging, fast-paced environment and is ready to make an impact.
Your new role
As a Case Manager, you’ll take charge of managing complex claims with confidence and precision. You’ll apply your strategic thinking and problem-solving skills to deliver outcomes that support injured individuals in returning to work. This role demands initiative, resilience, and the ability to navigate competing priorities with ease.
The QBE Case Management model involves guiding and providing support to people throughout their recovery, liaising with essential external stakeholders in the claim such as doctors, treatment providers and solicitors to help support the injured person through the claims process while working in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. Responsibilities include:
You are self-motivated, with a keen attention to detail, capable of maintaining high standards during times of change and resilient when facing challenges. Ideally you will have experience within the insurance industry (managing claims or personal injury management) or you may have a background in health or have experience in a similar environment. In addition:

- Champion customer outcomes through assertive case management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by guiding and assist them through their recovery.
- Maintain good client relationships with stakeholders and provide clear and timely communication.
- Own the end-to-end claims process with the guidance of your leaders.
- Identify and act on clinical information to develop effective strategies. guided by legislative and compliance timeframes.
- Operate independently while contributing to a high-performance team culture.
