We are seeking a creative and commercially minded Marketing Executive to join our Brand, Marketing and Digital team in a part time capacity.

About The Role
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Brand, Marketing and Digital, you will support the delivery of marketing strategies across digital platforms, content, partnerships, social media and brand activations. You will collaborate closely with internal departments, external agencies, and Marriott’s regional teams to bring the Westin brand to life across every touchpoint.

About The Role

What You’ll Be Doing
Digital Marketing, and Social Media
- Manage website content and third-party listings
- Collaborate with our social media agency to deliver platform-specific content plans
- Execute targeted paid media campaigns on social and digital channels
- Monitor digital performance and report on results and opportunities
- Support the execution of integrated campaigns across digital, print, PR and events
- Assist in activating seasonal promotions, F&B initiatives and key brand moments
- Work closely with the Marriott Digital Services (MDS) and Field Marketing teams on Marriott Bonvoy initiatives and global brand programs
- Brief and collaborate with designers and content producers to deliver compelling, brand-aligned assets
- Write engaging copy for email marketing, website content, social media, signage and in-house materials
- Support photoshoots and manage post-production asset organisation
- Support with media, influencer and KOL requests
- Coordinate follow-up and reporting on media activity
- Work closely with our PR agency and content partners to bring stories to life
- Partner with internal teams across Sales, Revenue, Food and Beverage and Operations to align on business objectives
- Assist with administrative support including meeting coordination, purchase orders, and invoice tracking
- Prepare performance reports and campaign recaps with data-led insights
Experience and Competencies
- Previous experience in a similar marketing role
- Sound understanding of marketing principles and channels
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into insights and actions
- Experience working with social media platforms including Meta and LinkedIn
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs and basic design tools (Canva)
- Creative thinker who can connect ideas to commercial outcomes
- Excellent communication skills and strong copywriting ability
- Knowledge of the Melbourne hospitality and F&B landscape is a plus
- Excellent planning and project coordination skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Strong communicator with professional interpersonal and networking skills
- Problem solver with a proactive, solutions-focused approach
- Able to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Professional, polished and confident when engaging with internal and external stakeholders
