Tradewind is currently recruiting a passionate and experienced Child and Family Counsellor to support families across Geelong, Colac and the surrounding coastal areas. This is an excellent opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a role that offers connection, purpose and variety.
In this office-based and outreach role, you will engage with individuals and their families to provide trauma-informed counselling and support services aimed at improving mental health outcomes and helping families recover from the harmful effects of alcohol and other drugs (AOD).
You'll be part of a team delivering holistic and evidence-informed care, using Collaborative Relational Practice (CRP) to address co-occurring and independent AOD and mental health needs.
0.8 - Full Time (Full-time preferred)
Salary: $97,000-$111,000 + Super
Office-based in Geelong & Colac, with regular coastal outreach
No hybrid or WFH option - this is an onsite/outreach role only
Work guided by CRP and evidence-informed therapeutic practice
Minimum 2 years' counselling experience with families or children
Tertiary qualification in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling or related field
Registration or accreditation with AASW, PACFA, ACA or similar
Strong understanding of AOD, mental health, trauma and systemic family work
Current driver's licence and confidence to travel for outreach
