What Will You Do

- Bring Ubank’s brand positioning to life through compelling social-first content that resonates with our target audiences
- Create ideas that cut through the feed – from reactive moments and smart influencer partnerships, to fully integrated social campaigns
- Dream up and deliver platform-native content that feels right at home on TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and beyond, with a particular focus on always-on storytelling
- Brief designers and videographers to create content, but also help bring social ideas to life wherever you’re needed
- This includes getting hands-on with creating, and being able to film and edit content where required
- Manage day-to-day publishing, scheduling, and community management, working in partnership with our Contact Centre to maintain a consistent brand voice
- Write thumb-stopping copy for social content and ads, and identify ways to join social conversations and engage our audience on a deeper level
- Feel comfortable learning about data and analytics to gain insights and learnings from our social activity that can assist the wider team, using data and audience feedback to refine our creative approach and output
- Stay plugged into what’s trending; social trends, platform changes, markets, and pop culture in Australia and knowing when to tap into it (or when not to)
In taking on this role you’ll:
- Have 2-4 years of experience working in social media as a proven content creator – this can be in-house, your own channels, or freelance
- A portfolio of social-first work – campaigns, content and concepts that live and breathe the internet and showcase a deep understanding of native content across social media platforms
- Experience with lo-fi video editing using in-app tools on TikTok or programs such as CapCut, but you will have a huge leg up on other applicants if you have more advanced editing skills
- Have a strong attention to detail, are proactive, and organised, and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment
- Flexible Work Environment: Hybrid model with 3 days in our vibrant Sydney CBD office.
- Supportive Culture: Work in a collaborative, inclusive, and high-performing team.
- Career Growth: Strong focus on development and internal mobility.
- Great Perks: Enjoy a range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing and success.
