As our first-ever CTO, you’ll shape the future of our product, team, and platform. Reporting to the CEO, you’ll guide technical strategy and execution while remaining connected to the realities of day-to-day product delivery.
You’ll lead a high-performing team of several members spanning across software and infrastructure. While your focus will be on the engineering side, you’ll also play a key role in influencing product strategy and direction, as well as organisational structure as we scale.

What You’ll Do
- Own end-to-end engineering delivery and platform excellence
- Drive product roadmap execution in partnership with the CEO and Head of Engineering
- Foster a high-performing culture of accountability, learning, and technical excellence
- Support our growing global customer base with reliability, security, and scalability top of mind
- Shape our technical architecture and explore the best ways to incorporate AI into the platform Implement systems, tools, and metrics to drive operational efficiency and transparency
- Manage, mentor, and grow a capable team across engineering and infrastructure
- Continuously improve delivery processes through automation, agile practices and data-driven decision making
- 8-10+ years experience in software engineering with a track record of leading technical teams and scaling products in complex environments
- Experience working in fast-paced SaaS startup or scale-up environments ($1M–$50M+ ARR ideally)
- Strong technical breadth - comfortable navigating infrastructure, data and security, cloud (AWS)
- You’ve owned the product roadmap before and not afraid to get stuck into strategy and trade-offs
- Familiarity with modern stacks (e.g. Python, Docker) and running self-hosted deployments
- Deep empathy for end-users and a pragmatic product mindset
- Good understanding of AI and the role it plays in modern solutions
- Experience with security & compliance standards (SOC2, ISO27001, GDPR)
- Deep experience in data, privacy, or infrastructure products
