About The Role
Are you a problem solver with a knack for front-end IT systems, and an eye for detail with analytical skills? We’re looking for a Business Analyst (Digital Specialist) to embed and enhance Protecht, our Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC) database-driven system, incorporating risk, compliance, incident management, audits and inspections across the enterprise.
At the heart of this role is a unique opportunity as one of the trusted experts that helps shape our GRC platform. This will involve ensuring Protecht’s utilisation and optimisation that covers developing and implementing documentation, including stakeholders training.
This is a hybrid position and ideally, we are seeking someone that is Melbourne-based, however would be open to Sydney-based for the right candidate.
Key Responsibilities Covering The Foundations, Central And Overarching Structure
This role will work closely with the GRC Coordinator, the Group Compliance Manager, the system owner and system SMEs under a shared services model, to deliver the annual plans for the Protecht’s utilisation and optimisation.

- Improve Data Quality and Management: Establish documentation for clear data ownership policies and enhance data integrity checks to improve reporting accuracy and for data usage and decision making
- Develop and implement Documentation: Establish and implement documentation for effective documentation to govern Protecht and its use
- Enable the Business: Support Super Users and users for desktop, tablet and mobile app, offer troubleshooting and insights
- Drive Improvement: undertake impact assessments and assist in the delivery of vendor-lead enhancements, help mature internal change management enhancements through prioritisation, structured release cycles, pre- and post-change validation processes
This role will work closely with the GRC Coordinator, the Group Compliance Manager, the system owner and system SMEs under a shared services model, to deliver the annual plans for the Protecht’s utilisation and optimisation.
About You

- Previous exposure / experience with JavaScript, InetSoft. Protecht experience a major plus
- 2-5 years’ experience in a similar role; and must have digital BA experience (essential)
- Sharp analytical skills based on technical foundations, with the ability to maintain the enterprise system integrity whilst considering business and user change requests
- Ideally, a database or systems background in an enterprise solution
- Great influencing, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Passionate about continuous improvement without compromising governance
- Ability to work in a very small team to deliver outcomes
