Peel Health Campus is a 206-bed general hospital located in Mandurah, approximately 75 km south of Perth, Western Australia. Serving the Peel region, including Mandurah, the shires of Murray and Waroona, and surrounding areas, it provides a wide range of healthcare services to the community.
Barker Ward is a 37 bedded medical and surgical ward, dedicated to providing high quality care to our local community. Currently, Barker is trialling a 6 bedded higher acuity area with the ability to provide cardiac monitoring capability. Nurses will be given the opportunity to upskill during this trial.
We have various exciting opportunities for highly motivated and experienced Nurses to join our dynamic team. As the Clinical Nurse you will be required to act as a professional resource, passionate mentor, and role model to junior team members. Also, key to this role is working collaboratively with the Nurse Unit Manager in the implementation of quality improvement activities. The successful applicant/s shall be part of a multidisciplinary team, provides clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence-based nursing care is delivered to patients. The Clinical Nurse facilitates and promotes patient safety and quality of care and practices within their scope of practice considerate of the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.
