The Role

As a Site Manager, you will be the person on the ground responsible for the project's overall performance, so being able to instill a team culture that fosters positivity, continuous improvement, communication, teamwork, and respect is essential.

  • Ensure high standards of WHS compliance on site.
  • Oversee operations on site in accordance with project programs and budgets.
  • Effectively manage workforce resourcing and productivity, including management and communication of labour schedules.
  • Procure equipment and materials, with a focus on accurate cost and quantity control within budget.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
  • Liaise closely with the client, ensuring project runs to program.

What We're Looking For

  • Commercial construction management experience, typically 10+ years.
  • An understanding of best practice construction and safety methodologies.
  • Experience across a range of project types and industries.
  • Demonstrated skills in leading by example.
  • The ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
  • Well-developed planning, organisation, and time management skills.
  • Demonstrated cost control techniques.
  • Clear understanding of WHS requirements and conflict resolution skills.
