About the role
Based in our Tamworth or Glen Innes Terminal and working closely with the Asset Delivery Manager and Leading Hand, you'll be responsible for the effective and safe operation of the terminal, including delivery of LPG products to Domestic, Commercial, Industrial and Agricultural customers. With a focus on safety and OH&S compliance, you will ensure that Origin is meeting needs of our customers across the region.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the delivery of LPG to residential and commercial customers
- General maintenance and cleaning duties in the terminal
- Loading and/or unloading LPG cylinder trucks, both within and outside of the LPG Bulk Terminal
- Testing and filling cylinders.
- Participation in safety activities including HSE meetings, observations, emergency response, incident reporting and audits
- Ensuring that deliveries are made in an accurate and timely manner as per the daily scheduled requirements
- Ensure that touch PC's are uploaded at the completion of each shift
- Undertake and complete daily / weekly / monthly checks of assigned delivery vehicles and complete appropriate checklists in accordance with Origin Energy Operational Procedures
- Reporting any customer Site Installation Defects or Hazards in the required format
- Refilling LPG Cylinders of all sizes and Retesting of LPG Cylinders as per Origin procedure
What you will bring?
To be considered for this role, you will be experienced working in a logistics environment and display the below licences/attributes:
- A minimum of a HR License is required for this role
- Experience adhering to health and safety requirements
- Motivated and able to use your own initiative
- Good customer service skills
