Investment Analyst, Asset Allocation
Cbus Super Fund

We are expanding our Asset Allocation team to include an additional member. The successful candidate will collaborate with members of the team to set the asset allocation of Cbus’ diversified investment options. Key aspects of the role include contributing to the enhancement of Cbus’ asset allocation process, framework and supporting the team in its portfolio construction decisions.
The successful candidate will have 1-2 years of experience in quantitative analysis and demonstrate a sound understanding of macro/top-down factors affecting asset classes and long-term investment strategy. You are expected to be able to work autonomously but also as part of a small team and possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent interpersonal verbal and written communication skills are also important, as is the ability to communicate findings with other members of the Investment team.
A curious interest in financial markets and the underlying drivers of expected returns and risk for a range of asset classes and preferred experience gathering economic and financial data series, with some familiarity with using databases such as Bloomberg is an advantage.
