Hospitality Training Network (HTN) is seeking an eager and dedicated Apprentice Chef to join the team with the Emu Plains Sports Club.

Emu Plains Sport & Recreation Club overlooks the Leona Golf Course and located at the foot of the Blue Mountains in Western Sydney. The Club features a Bistro & main lounge which seats approximately 300+ guests and has views of the golf course a café area and a bus functions trade with 2 function rooms capable of seating 10 - 150 guests
What’s Involved
As an Apprentice Chef, you will learn alongside qualified Chefs in all aspects of food preparation and presentation. Working with us allows you to learn and build experiences from skilled professionals within a commercial kitchen environment. You will be working at one of our great host venues, working with large quantities of food and a variety of seasonal ingredients. Key activities you can expect will be:
Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays if required.
Must have drivers Lic and reliable transport as there is no availale public transport.

- Assist in the preparation, cooking and serving of dishes.
- Operate kitchen equipment such as mixers, choppers, fryers, steamers under supervision.
- Learn different knife and cooking techniques.
- Clean, maintain and store kitchen equipment appropriately.
Applicants must be available to work evenings, weekends and public holidays if required.

- Australian Citizenship
- Australian Permanent Residency
- New Zealand Passport Holder residing in Australia for more than six months.
