An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced and proactive Warehouse Lead to join a growing team within a fast-paced, high-volume operation. This full-time, on-site position will see you leading the daily activities of the warehouse while maintaining high standards across stock control, dispatch, and team coordination.

Working within a time-sensitive environment, you’ll play a critical role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched efficiently and safely. You'll lead by example on the floor, working closely with a small team and liaising with production, delivery drivers, and internal stakeholders to keep things running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will bring a background in food handling, cold storage, or FMCG environments, but most importantly will be someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a “get-it-done” attitude. This role is well-suited to someone who thrives under pressure, is confident operating a forklift, and enjoys taking ownership of their area.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the daily operation of the warehouse, including goods receiving, put away, dispatch, and internal stock movement
  • Operate forklifts to load/unload goods and ensure stock is handled safely and efficiently
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with cycle counts and stock accuracy
  • Ensure freight is booked, tracked, and delivered on time in coordination with transport providers
  • Uphold all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work environment
  • Support process improvements, layout efficiency, and team performance
  • Act as the point of contact for warehouse queries and communicate clearly with internal teams

What You’ll Bring:

  • Proven experience in a warehouse team leader or supervisor role
  • Current forklift license (LF) – essential
  • Background in food handling, FMCG, or refrigerated goods – highly desirable
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and lead by example
  • Comfortable in a fast-paced, hands-on environment with changing priorities
  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with inventory systems

If you're ready to step into a role where you can take the lead and make an immediate impact, this is the opportunity for you. Immediate start available for the right candidate.
