Job Description

We are hiring a Data Engineering Lead with hands-on expertise in designing and delivering world-class, end-to-end data engineering solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data architecture, ETL processes, big data technologies, and cloud-based solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to design, build, and manage scalable data platforms that support business intelligence, analytics, and machine learning applications.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of scalable data pipelines on Azure Cloud .
  • Architect and implement data solutions using Azure services such as Azure Data Factory, Azure Databricks, Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Lake, and Azure SQL .
  • Optimize ETL/ELT pipelines for efficient data ingestion, transformation, and storage .
  • Develop and maintain data models to support business reporting and analytics needs.
  • Collaborate with data scientists, analysts, and business teams to enable data-driven decision-making.
  • Implement data governance, security, and compliance best practices in alignment with industry standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot data workflows , ensuring high availability and performance.
  • Lead a team of data engineers , providing technical guidance, mentoring, and support.
  • Citizen with baseline clearance is a must.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of experience in data engineering, architecture, and cloud solutions .
  • Expertise in Azure Data Platform (Azure Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics, Data Lake, Azure SQL, etc.).
  • Strong SQL, Python, and Spark programming skills.
  • Experience with Big Data processing frameworks and streaming technologies (Kafka, Event Hub, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with ETL/ELT pipelines , data modeling, and performance tuning.
  • Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks (GDPR, HIPAA, etc.) .
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in agile environments .
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
