The Opportunity
This role leads the Power Quality Marketing & Sales efforts for the Grid Integration business unit in Australia with particular focus on Utility and large-scale Power Quality Projects. Full ownership for achieving Order Received and Order Profitability targets overall in the OU PQ segment. This includes early marketing and lead generation, direct customer sales as well as responsibility for tendering interface. This role is leading the global Capture Team consisting of local resources, regional support and global center of competence experts required for large scale power quality projects.

How You Will Make An Impact
- You will be responsible for creating, planning and implementing the sales marketing strategies for the assigned area (Utility Power Quality & System Strength market) in accordance with global marketing and sales strategy and budget, producing action plans accordingly, creating, planning and implementing sales strategy, and strategic sales and business development initiatives, in alignment with OU/Hub sales strategy, achieving sales targets in respect of both budgets and sales efficiency. You will coordinate to embed global product and technology inputs with global and local technical experts into a local strategy to influence and change the local Power Systems & System Strength markets in the company’s favor.
- You will Input to establishment of local PQ sales targets and target projects, responsible to achieving local OU UT PQ target, responsible for achieving defined profitability targets, identify opportunities with existing and potential new customers within defined geographical area and determines plans for securing the opportunities, monitor competition, market share and other market movements for the assigned market segments (Power Quality & System Strength) and understand technical market developments.
- You will be responsible for product marketing, industry, segment marketing and strategic and tactical marketing plans to support the relevant organization, initiate, implement and reports market analysis and marketing activities, ensure the market is monitored by developing and maintaining efficient marketing tools and implementing coordinated marketing analyses and activities, collaborate with application engineers and technical sales experts to jointly influence market / market participants.
- You will collaborate internally and oversee preparation of competitor analyses ranging from full profit and loss account (P&L) and main financial data to company profile and net sales analysis, coordinate the flow of information for sales activities and transactions, including leads, orders, contracts, etc. and evaluate data to ensure achievement of goals, monitor and provide reports to the Marketing and Sales organization on market intelligence, support the development of strong relationships with key customers, build and maintain strong relationships with key decision makers, ensure efficient marketing communications.
- You will identify and manage potential risks relating to contract agreements across customers/channels, take ownership of the sales processes, and all relevant training and development plans, actions and programs, direct lead of major capture teams in the assigned area. You will ensure safe working procedures and practices are always followed including the wearing and maintenance of assigned Personal Protective Equipment, attendance at required health, safety and environment training, report injury, incidents, hazards, and near-miss events.
- You will be responsible for compliance with relevant HSE policy and procedures, ensuring proactive risk assessments take place and corrective actions monitored/followed up. You will build an injury, incident, near miss and hazard reporting culture within your team, guaranteeing reported incidents will be investigated and action taken, lead, model, drive and hold itself accountable for the highest standards of health, safety, and environment to ensure Zero Harm is achieved and create a workplace where everyone views health, safety, and environment as the most important non-negotiable value of your business.

- You will be responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines.
- You hold a relevant degree in engineering.
- Minimum 10 years in sales and marketing related to power electronics.
- Proficient with MS Word, Excel; demonstrated negotiation skills, experience managing people
- Proficiency in English communication.
