The role

The Data Engineer is responsible for supporting their current data environment and developing data ingestion pipelines, and monitoring data workflows.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

• Support and manage the Azure Databricks data platform environment
• Implement data quality checks and monitoring to optimize data workflows and processes
• Perform database testing and platform development work
• Data processing & transformations (Azure Databricks)
• Design and develop data pipelines, ETL processes, and workflows using Databricks.
  
  

Required

• Extensive experience as an Azure Data Engineer
• Demonstrable hands-on experience Azure Data services such as Azure Data Factory
• Demonstrable hands-on experience Azure Databricks
• Strong experience building and supporting data platforms within an Azure Databricks environment
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Scala, or Java
• Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL processes
• Excellent stakeholder management skills
