Reporting into the Workshop Supervisor, the Leading Hand Plant Mechanic join our Flexi Cooling Services department on a full-time basis at our Perth Airport workshop. This role involves leading a team to success in the Radiator exchange program, centred around the overhaul of 793F Radiators, ensuring optimum safety and efficiency throughout the entire build.
Department Overview: Flexi Parts & Mining Services specialises in powertrain overhauls, machine dismantling and rebuilds, radiator overhauling services, and undercarriage repairs. Our team is dedicated to providing high-quality service and support, ensuring optimal performance and longevity of heavy equipment.
Roster: 5 On, 2 Off – Days – 10hrs/day

What You’ll Do:
- Lead a team to success in the Flexi Cooling Services department.
- Ensure delivery dates and deadlines are met.
- Work on WesTrac’s Radiator exchange program centred around the overhaul of 793F Radiators.
- Ensure optimum safety and efficiency throughout the entire build.
- Previous leadership experience working in a similar position.
- Australian-recognised Heavy Vehicle or Mobile Plant Trade Certificate.
- Ability to work well under pressure while having a good safety aptitude.
- Excellent time management, punctuality and communication skills.
- Strong diagnostic skills are recommended.
- Sound knowledge of Microsoft programs.
- Demonstrated ability to work well in a team environment.
