Management Accountant

About the Opportunity:

We are partnering with a purpose-driven organisation to recruit a Management Accountant for an initial 6-month contract, with strong potential for permanency. Based in Brisbane’s inner suburbs, this role offers the chance to contribute to meaningful work in a supportive and values-led environment.

About the Role:

As Management Accountant, you will support financial planning, performance analysis, and strategic decision-making across the organisation. You’ll work closely with operational and executive teams to deliver timely and accurate financial insights.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare monthly management reports, forecasts, and variance analysis
• Assist in the annual budgeting and planning cycle
• Partner with stakeholders to provide financial advice and insights
• Maintain compliance with internal controls and financial procedures
• Drive improvements in financial reporting and processes
  
  

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience in a Management Accountant or Commercial Finance role
• Advanced Excel and strong financial analysis capabilities
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Previous experience in the not-for-profit or public sector is desirable
• CA/CPA qualified or working towards
