What you'll do:
As a Financial Accountant based in North Brisbane, you will be entrusted with ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions while playing an integral role in shaping the organisation's financial health. - Liaise effectively with external stakeholders such as financial institutions, auditors, and taxation authorities to facilitate smooth audits and compliance checks.
- Assist in evaluating the financial and operational implications of new business initiatives, projects, or investments by providing detailed analysis.
- Support the annual budgeting process by collaborating with key business managers to prepare comprehensive P&L statements, balance sheets, and cash flow forecasts.
- Prepare periodic financial forecasts on an ongoing basis to inform strategic planning and resource allocation decisions.
- Monitor actual performance against budgeted figures and report variances clearly to management for informed decision-making.
