Role Overview:
As a Configuration Management Specialist, you will be part of the Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) Team responsible for the 3DX Data Migration, transition, uplift and ongoing development of the 3DX platform in support of air, land and sea programs across BDA. This position will see you working closely with 3DX Solutions Architects, BDA Program Teams and other PLM Subject Matter Experts to define 3DX configuration changes, support program specific requirements and work with business functions to enhance the capability of the 3DX PLM Tool.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with BDA programs to define 3DX configurations and onboarding requirements
- Collaborate with BDA Programs to define the BDA 3DX Data Model
- Support the development, testing and validation of 3DX data, improvements and changes
- Help shape the way 3DX will be used across the business by advising and influencing changes or best practices
- Effectively interface with project team members and stakeholders
- Engage stakeholders to understand how data is used and advise of PLM best practices
- Support ongoing 3DX Tool Baseline Management
Experience/Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in Configuration Management;
- Formal Configuration Management training / certification highly desirable;
- Experienced in managing definition data;
- eMatrix PLM tool knowledge highly desirable;
- 3DExperience PLM tool knowledge highly desirable; and
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
