Join Our Team as an Analytics Consultant
Gallagher is seeking a talented Analytics Consultant to join our growing team in Brisbane, Melbourne, or Sydney. In this role, you'll work closely with clients to transform complex challenges into actionable insights through advanced data analytics and strategic risk‑modelling initiatives. Your expertise will drive meaningful impact, enabling businesses to make data‑driven decisions and confidently navigate future opportunities
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and deploy analytics solutions in areas such as claim forecasting, risk assessments, insurance program optimisation, and climate risk strategy
  • Build models and interpret outcomes to guide client decisions
  • Support business development by identifying opportunities and nurturing client relationships
  • Implement statistical models and conduct data analysis using Python or R
  • Manage datasets via SQL and develop compelling proposals
  • Communicate insights effectively through reports and presentations
  • Collaborate with brokers, engineers, actuaries, and domain experts to align technical findings with commercial strategies
  • Enhance internal frameworks and

Required Skills:
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in relevant fields
  • Proficiency in Python or R and expertise in SQL
  • Experience with simulation techniques
  • A degree in a quantitative discipline
  • Strong communication skills
Desirable Attributes:
  • Experience in insurance or risk management
  • Knowledge of geospatial analytics and actuarial methodologies
  • Consulting experience
  • Ability to manage projects and client relationships effectively
