As a Creature Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting and managing artists, whilst overseeing craft and processes.

Responsibilities:
As a Creature Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in supporting and managing artists, whilst overseeing craft and processes.
- Ensure artists are qualified, efficient, and trained to meet artistic and technical expectations.
- Manage the team, establishing workflows and methodologies for assigned projects.
- Collaborate with production resourcing for artist assignments, providing capability assessments.
- Support People & Culture in people processes for artists, including hiring, contracts, and performance feedback.
- Assist Heads of Departments (HODs) in maintaining discipline standards and technology use.
- Work with HODs and CG Supervisors to establish individual and team output levels.
- Act as the last level of problem-solving and reference for artists and supervisors.
- Work with production to identify resource needs and ensure capacity requirements are met.
- Influence the performance, skills, and development of the department.
- Serve as the first choice for working as instructors in Education.
- Maintain technical skills to work as an artist in your discipline.
- Minimum 5 years experience as a Creature Supervisor or similar role.
- Strong technical knowledge of visual effects tools, pipelines, processes, and workflows within Maya rigging and Houdini creature simulation tasks.
- Demonstrated conceptual and innovative problem-solving skills.
- Strong people management skills.
- Active contribution to achieving the company’s operational goals.
- Established in ongoing improvements to project delivery and analysis.
- Positive and motivational leadership to develop company culture and values.
