The Role
We're seeking a Mobile Apps Developer for our Mobile team. You'll be responsible for developing high-quality, secure software, primarily for aXcelerate's mobile applications, and contributing to our LMS module. This agile role can be hybrid in Brisbane or fully remote within Australia.

The Role
We're seeking a Mobile Apps Developer for our Mobile team. You'll be responsible for developing high-quality, secure software, primarily for aXcelerate's mobile applications, and contributing to our LMS module. This agile role can be hybrid in Brisbane or fully remote within Australia.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and designing robust, scalable, and high-performing mobile applications
- Modifying software to fix errors, upgrade interfaces and improve system performance
- Maintaining consistent functionality and user experience across Android, iOS, and web platforms
- Writing clean, well-documented code and participating in code reviews
- Mentor and support junior members, foster knowledge share and continuous growth within the team
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, UI/UX designers, on new features and technical decisions
- Managing codebase changes with Git and tracking tasks in JIRA
- Staying current with industry trends especially in the field of Mobile Apps
- Extensive experience in software development with the main focus on mobile apps
- Strong experience with HTML / CSS / JavaScript / TypeScript
- Strong experience with React or React Native is essential
- Experience with working with RESTFul APIs and handling asynchronous operations
- Experience with version control tools such as GIT
- Passionate about all things software and development
- Adaptability/Flexibility - Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving development practices
- Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks accordingly
- Ability to work both independently and in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
