About the role
As we embark on a transformational journey to simplify our systems, we’re on the lookout for driven Cloud Engineers ready to help us modernize, integrate and secure the digital foundation of our future. As a Cloud Engineer, you’ll play a key role in our strategic modernisation and simplification program - integrating existing platforms, while enabling a scalable, secure Azure cloud environment.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy and manage highly available, fault-tolerant systems on Microsoft Azure.
- Manage and monitor our cloud infrastructure for performance, reliability, and security.
- Implement and maintain key Azure services (VMs, SQL Databases, Active Directory, and more).
- Embed cloud automation using GitHub Actions, Terraform, ARM, BICEP, and PowerShell.
- Participate in incident response and support through fault resolution and deep troubleshooting.
- Collaborate across IT and architecture teams to meet evolving technical and compliance standards.
What we’re looking for
- Proven experience in Azure cloud engineering (or similar).
- A toolkit with expertise in Azure services and architecture, infrastructure-as-code and scripting (Teraform, PowerShell or Python).
- CI/CD pipelines experience using tools like GitHub Actions.
- Comfort in working in an Agile environment.
- Sharp problem solving and attention to detail.
