Contract type: Full time
Are you an experienced communications and campaign professional with a strategic mind, hands-on approach, and the ability to engage and inspire others?

We’re looking for a Communications and Campaign Lead to drive a high impact, state wide campaign promoting the critically important role of foster care in Victoria’s care system.

You’ll lead the Fostering Connections campaign, working closely with foster care agencies and government to build awareness and inspire action. From shaping campaign strategy to creating compelling content, you’ll oversee digital and traditional media activity, advise on best practice communications, and help tell powerful stories that elevate the voices of carers.

This is a unique opportunity to lead a well-established, centralised campaign that supports the recruitment of foster carers across the state. You’ll bring a mix of strategic thinking, creativity, and practical delivery skills, developing messaging, coordinating campaign assets, tracking performance, and supporting agency partners to strengthen their local reach.

The ideal candidate will have experience delivering public campaigns or communications strategies in the social change, government, or community services sectors. You’ll be confident working with digital platforms and creative partners, and comfortable using data and research to inform decisions.

This role sits in the Centre for Excellence in Child and Family Welfare and plays a critical role in the sector’s efforts to ensure every child has a safe and supportive home.

If you’re ready to lead work that matters with impact that’s felt across communities this role is for you.
