Who are we looking for?

We’re looking for a Receptionist and Administrator to be the face of our Adelaide office, providing outstanding workplace experiences to our clients, employees and visitors. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a front-of-house environment and enjoys being the first point of contact for clients, visitors, and staff. You’ll be proactive, organised, and passionate about delivering exceptional customer service while supporting the smooth operation of our office.


Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Being the first point of contact for visitor, client and employee enquiries, creating a welcoming environment for all
  • Greeting and inducting visitors and maintaining a welcoming reception area
  • Coordinating incoming and outgoing mail, courier bookings, and invoice reconciliation
  • Supporting general office operations including stationery, kitchen supplies, and facilities maintenance
  • Support coordination of internal and external events when required
  • Assisting with onboarding tasks for new starters, contractors, and work experience placements


What would you bring to the team?

  • Previous experience in a reception or administrative support role, ideally 3+ years
  • Excellent communication skills and a passion for delivering an exceptional workplace service experience
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, with the capacity to multitask
  • Ability to provide administrative support with proficiency in MS Office packages including Teams, Word and Excel
  • A collaborative, respectful approach aligned with GHD’s values of Safety, Teamwork, Respect, and Integrity
