We are looking for a dynamic and visionary leader to join our team as the Director of Procurement & Facilities. This pivotal role is responsible for shaping and executing QTC’s Procurement strategy, ensuring it aligns with our business needs, drives long-term commercial value, and enhances the visibility and embedment of procurement across QTC.

This pivotal role is responsible for shaping and executing QTC’s Procurement strategy, ensuring it aligns with our business needs, drives long-term commercial value, and enhances the visibility and embedment of procurement across QTC.
What You’ll Do
Strategy and Planning:
- Review and develop a new procurement operating model aligned with QTC strategy.
- Develop a commercially viable procurement strategy in consultation with key stakeholders.
- Design and lead the strategic procurement demand planning cycle.
- Lead the Procurement and Facilities team, ensuring optimal resourcing and skill complement.
- Provide strategic guidance and foster a culture of excellence and innovation.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive procurement learning and development program.
- Implement a Community of Practice model for collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Develop a case for change related to technology platform investment.
- Provide project support to the Project Management Office as needed.
- Oversee the review and maintenance of procurement-related policies and procedures.
- Develop relevant frameworks and refine procurement processes.
- Ensure compliance with the Risk Management Framework and provide necessary reporting.
Competencies
- Strong technical, behavioural, and leadership skills, including experience in driving integrated procurement strategies, effective communication, and proven leadership in procurement and facilities.
- Essential: Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline or significant equivalent experience.
- Desirable: Certificate IV in Procurement and Contracting, Diploma of Business (Procurement), Diploma of Procurement and Contracting.
- Essential: Minimum of 10 years’ experience in relevant roles.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high-quality outcomes.
