Job Description

Seeking for an Oracle Consulting Enterprise Advisor will be a senior-level Consulting professional who will lead conversations with CxO’s in key accounts across existing logos.

The purpose is to maximize impact of Oracle Consulting’s efforts in prospective and/or ongoing accounts, with the objective of winning through differentiation and/or maximizing revenue whilst creating value to customers by taking a longer-term account view than a transactional project view, thereby creating sustainable long-term relationships through win-win propositions – “Customer for life” must be the motive and mindset; should become the go-to person to our customers for all matters relating to Oracle.

As a recognised authority within the Consulting practice, this senior-level professional will possess a strong understanding of Oracle – its offerings, as an organization and its ecosystem, its competitive landscape, general and emerging market trends.

The person will differentiate through conversations focused on business outcomes that are solution led to solve business problems and/or maximizing value out of our customers investment in Oracle.

The person will exercise judgment via business acumen in formulating and advising Consulting leadership on account strategies across pursuit and active engagements.

The person will act as a mentor and coach to teammates and colleagues within the practice – nurture and groom colleagues with potential and promise thereby enhancing the overall maturity and competency of the practice.

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of experience with Oracle solution offerings across applications and technology, including a minimum of 5 years of consulting experience in large transformative engagements in an enterprise architect or program director role.
  • Proven expertise in engaging with CxO’s; ability to craft and articulate business value propositions; An adept storyteller who can simplify value messages stemming from complex solution and technology roadmap discussions.
  • Proven ability of earning the “Trusted Advisor” tag and maintaining lasting relationships with CxOs.
  • Ability to lead impactful conversations with CxO’s across a broad spectrum of their business; possess a thorough and broad understanding of Oracle’s solution landscape and market offerings across SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS.
  • Evidence of having represented Consulting LoB / team in executive steering committees on large scale engagements.
  • Leading with Consulting acumen – viewing technology propositions through a business lens; ability to evaluate Cost Vs Value from a CxO perspective and craft win-win propositions.
  • In-depth understanding of Oracle organization and ecosystem, and the competitive landscape; Adept with the drivers of Consulting engagements and Consulting business in general – Commercial & Contract structures and Consulting KPIs.
  • Proven expertise in leading by example, team(s) of senior Enterprise Architects, Program Directors, and subject matter experts.
  • Ability to sustain and deliver results under high pressure; Demonstrate empathetical leadership to win the trust and confidence of teammates and colleagues.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills; Must have negotiated and won large deals (Minimum 3+M$)
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher qualification.
  • TOGAF or similar certification.


Responsibilities

  • Trusted Advisor – work closely alongside Sales & Delivery teams to understand our clients’ technology landscapes (enterprise architecture), to help them see the future state, and map out the apps and tech opportunities for them.
  • Maximize Consulting and Oracle subscription revenue – harvest value out of customer investments in Oracle; Lead presentations and conversations with CxOs; enable customers to extract maximum value of their Oracle investments
  • Collaborate with Oracle cross line-of-business colleagues and Enterprise Solution Architects within the practice to craft solution roadmaps that address customers business challenges and constraints.
  • Advise customers on the best-fit solutions as well as approaches to adopt keeping in mind the current and future IT strategy and roadmap of the customer.
  • Advise strategic and tactical course of actions to Consulting leadership on key engagements and pursuits.
  • Manage Issues and potential escalations between Oracle and customers.
  • Support Consulting program/project managers to ensure success of each engagement both financially and from a customer satisfaction viewpoint – focus must be on profitable engagements for Oracle Consulting that deliver business outcomes to customers.
  • Establish strong, lasting, and collaborative relationships with customers as well as internal Oracle Lines of Businesses (LOBs).
  • Support Consulting Portfolio and Capability Managers to grow the capability and maturity of the Consulting practice by mentoring & coaching team members on Customer engagements.
