Job Description

As an IP Pre-sales consultant, you will manage IP Enterprise Business Development at Nokia, playing a pivotal role in driving growth within the mission-critical and cloud sectors across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands. Collaborating closely with pre-sales, sales, and delivery teams, you will lead customer engagements, develop innovative IP solution strategies, and create compelling proposals tailored to client needs. The dynamic work environment encourages teamwork and collaboration, allowing you to leverage your expertise while fostering strong relationships with customers and global product teams. You will be a key contributor to elevating Nokia's position in the market, ensuring that we deliver outstanding value and solutions to our clients while navigating complex opportunities together. How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn

  • Lead pre-sales engagements, crafting advanced IP solutions for mission critical and cloud sectors across Australia, New Zealand, and the Pacific Islands.
  • Collaborate with customers to identify requirements and develop innovative product strategies that address their unique challenges.
  • Support business development by coordinating with NI-IP pre-sales, sales, and delivery teams to create robust customer engagement plans.
  • Define product and solution strategies, creating Bill of Materials and pricing structures tailored to customer needs.
  • Conduct regular roadmap presentations and workshops to keep customers informed of new product offerings and solutions.
  • Manage complex RFPs by collaborating with bid managers and sales teams to deliver compelling proposals and responses.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with global and regional product teams to enhance solution delivery.
  • Oversee customer proof of concepts and ensure a seamless transition of solutions to the delivery teams, addressing escalations as needed.

Key Skills And Experience

You have:

  • 10+ years of experience in IP networking, particularly in mission critical and data centre sectors
  • Advanced knowledge of Nokia IP technologies, solutions, and products
  • Strong understanding of IP/MPLS technologies and applications, including L2 & L3 network services
  • Sound business acumen with a good understanding of commercial strategies

It would be nice if you also had:

  • Experience with Nokia’s business processes, financial reporting, and toolsets (e.g. IPIS)
  • Proven ability to manage high-value complex deals effectively
  • Experience in drafting and reviewing contracts for commercial and delivery teams
  • Strong presentation skills for customer engagement and workshops
