Role Summary:
Hudson RPO is looking for an experienced Recruiter to support a global client in the specialty chemicals and manufacturing industry, with a strong presence in water treatment, life sciences, and industrial solutions. This role is based in Melbourne and will operate in a hybrid capacity, working closely with onsite teams, hiring managers, and HR partners to deliver high-quality end-to-end recruitment solutions.
The role will be responsible for hiring across key functions including engineering, sales & marketing, commercial, and corporate services, playing a vital role in helping the business attract and retain top talent across Australia, and potentially China if you speak Mandarin.
This is an ongoing part-time role, typically 3 days per week, though we're open to 4 days per week for the right candidate with specific language skills. We're committed to finding a flexible working solution that aligns with the successful candidate's needs

Key Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Recruitment: Manage the full lifecycle recruitment process for a diverse range of roles—sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Hiring Manager Partnership: Build strong relationships with hiring leaders, acting as a trusted advisor on market trends, recruitment strategy, and best practices.
- Talent Sourcing: Use a variety of sourcing techniques to attract candidates, including direct sourcing, job boards, LinkedIn, and networking within relevant sectors.
- Candidate Experience: Ensure a high-touch, engaging recruitment experience that reflects our client’s values and supports employer brand.
- Diversity & Inclusion: Promote inclusive hiring practices that align with the client’s global D&I objectives.
- Market Intelligence: Share insights on competitor activity, talent trends, and salary benchmarks—particularly within the chemical manufacturing and industrial sectors
- Language Skills: Strong preference for Mandarin language skills, as the role may also involve recruiting in China.
- Experience: Proven TA experience, ideally gained within manufacturing, engineering, chemical, water treatment, life sciences, or industrial sectors.
- Stakeholder Management: Strong ability to partner with hiring managers, influence decision-making, and manage competing priorities.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using ATS platforms and sourcing tools like LinkedIn Recruiter.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills; professional, consultative, and proactive.
- Adaptability: Able to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with a mix of onsite and remote work.
