The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Employer Partnership Manager to join our team. This role is accountable for providing a strong and influential presence in an assigned portfolio of employers aimed at building and maintaining employer relationships and enhancing the UniSuper brand.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop a strong and influential presence to strengthen relationships and enhance the UniSuper brand within an assigned portfolio of employers.
- Identify and pursue business development opportunities to increase employer and membership growth.
- Elicit current and future employer or member needs and plan the provision of the best array of value-adding services.
- Establish specific annual Account Plans that respond to current and future employer needs.
- Maintain a Relationship Management Plan that engages key employers and appropriate UniSuper staff strategically.
- Coordinate UniSuper's access and transactions for specialist member and employer service delivery activities.
- Develop insights and recommend strategies for competitive intelligence gathering, marketing research, and member retention.
- Oversee the effective response to data cleansing and elevated member issues.
- Participate in data gathering and analysis of patterns and trends and implement improvement projects.
- Oversee the delivery of UniSuper initiatives/projects at a local level and increase brand awareness in the region.
- Capture a major share of pre and post-retirement member F.U.M. through targeted member loyalty and retention strategies.
- Monitor delivery standards and report on agreed key performance indicators.
- Present at member and employer seminars on topics with low technical content regarding UniSuper and superannuation generally.
About You
- Experience in a commercial environment with responsibility for building and maintaining critical relationships, preferably within the superannuation/finance industry.
- Experience with both defined benefit and accumulation superannuation funds is desirable.
- A deep understanding of building customer base loyalty and driving business development/sales growth.
- Relevant tertiary qualification and/or industry experience and RG 146 compliant.
- Proven experience in assessing and evaluating organizational service delivery performance and introducing required organizational change.
- Strong interpersonal skills, particularly listening, empathy, and the ability to communicate persuasively.
- Ability to drive activity and results.
- Excellent commercial understanding.
- High personal integrity and ability to develop trust.
- Initiative, drive, and ability to respond to and solve problems.
- Experience with CRMs, databases, and information gathering.
- Developed analytical and reporting skills.
- High levels of personal organization and planning skills.
