Your Role
We're on the lookout for an ambitious, energetic, and highly motivated individual to execute a customer-focused, solution-driven sales strategy. Your role will be to effectively position our service offerings and deliver a seamless end-to-end workforce management solution to our clients.
As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) at Xemplo, you'll play a critical role in identifying and nurturing new opportunities. You’ll manage outbound engagement and build a pipeline to position Xemplo as a top choice in a competitive market.
You’ll report to our Head of Sales and work closely with the Marketing and Product teams. This role is hybrid, with four days per week in our Sydney office.

What You'll Do
- Take ownership of a phone-based role making outbound sales call.
- Master Xemplo’s value proposition.
- Become a product expert on our platform and understand our competitors.
- Prospect into strategic opportunities using tools like Seamless AI, HubSpot, LinkedIn Sales Nav, and Gong Engage.
- Partner with marketing to manage outbound campaigns, develop HubSpot sequences for an effective multi-channel prospecting strategy.
- Coordinate meetings on Account Executive’s calendars and log activities.
- Maintain and update accurate records in CRM.
- Have prior experience in B2B SaaS, preferably in a telephone-based, pipeline-generating sales role.
- Manage our current Outbound Engine.
- Be curious about people, technology, and business, with excellent listening skills.
- Follow and refine processes for optimal results, maintaining a detail-oriented and organised mindset.
- Be a self-starter who enjoys creating processes and procedures for a scaling business.
- Represent Xemplo with maturity and professionalism.
- Possess excellent problem-solving skills and enthusiasm for making a significant impact at a scale-up.
- B2B SDR experience, ideally in a SaaS background.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct cold calls.
- A hunter sales mentality, self-motivation, and results orientation.
- Professionalism, urgency, and an unwavering ambition to drive sales revenue growth.
- A track record of successfully generating new opportunities, driving growth, and achieving targets.
- Exceptional communication skills and comfort liaising with C-Suite.
- An analytical mindset capable of conducting market research and analysing data to identify opportunities.
- Familiarity with TMS, HRIS, HCM, HRMS, or payroll software packages is highly advantageous.
