Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced IT professional to support all corporate network operations at our Curragh Complex. This 12-month fixed-term contract, based in Brisbane, plays a key role in ensuring our technology capabilities are maintained and optimised to meet both current and future business needs, with a particular focus on our mining and operational systems.

Role Overview

This 12-month fixed-term contract, based in Brisbane, plays a key role in ensuring our technology capabilities are maintained and optimised to meet both current and future business needs, with a particular focus on our mining and operational systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver and maintain critical IT infrastructure across corporate and operational networks, ensuring high availability and performance to support site-wide systems.
- Manage and support network security, including firewalls, Cisco infrastructure, and Azure networking, to safeguard against system vulnerabilities.
- Lead lifecycle management of key systems—planning upgrades, replacements, and ensuring all infrastructure aligns with evolving business needs and industry standards.
- Provide hands-on support for operational technology, including mining systems, server infrastructure, and end-user environments, with a focus on uptime and continuity.
- Coordinate and implement IT projects, contributing to system design, installation, documentation, and change control to ensure structured, risk-managed deployments.
- Drive IT compliance and risk management, including backup and recovery planning, incident response, and adherence to Curragh’s safety, security, and governance frameworks.
- Tertiary qualifications in ICT, Electronics, Communications, or a related discipline
- Strong background in IT infrastructure, networking, and operational technology within complex environments
- Proven experience supporting mining or industrial systems, including control applications and backend infrastructure
- Familiarity with industry standards and frameworks such as ITIL and COBIT
