You will report to the Finance Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Perform day-to-day transactional accounting tasks, including data entry, accounts payable/receivable, and general ledger entries.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including reconciling bank statements and credit card transactions.
- Prepare and process invoices, purchase orders, and expense reports.
- Conduct regular financial analysis and generate reports for management, highlighting key financial indicators and trends.
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure proper financial controls and procedures are followed.
- Stay up-to-date with accounting principles and regulations to ensure compliance.
- 3+ years in the Accounting domain
- Proficiency in ERP softwares and MS Excel. MS Business Central is preferred
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (preferred).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Cert IV in Accounting) would be an advantage.
- Studying towards CA/ CPA
