As a Professional Development Advisor, you’ll play a key role in supporting and growing the careers of employees—especially those in critical roles. You will coach, mentor, and guide middle management to help them reach their full potential, while also contributing to broader organisational goals like retention and succession planning.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and implement career development programs and initiatives tailored to individual and organisational needs.
- Collaborate with various heads of departments to identify key roles and potential successors.
- Conduct regular career development sessions and workshops for employees.
- Provide one-on-one career coaching and mentoring for employees in key roles.
- Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of career development programs and make necessary adjustments.
- Assist in the creation of individual development plans (IDPs) for employees and collaborate with Training Facilitators to action plans as required.
- Support the HR team with succession planning and talent management strategies and initiatives.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in career development and succession planning.
- Foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth within the organisation.
- A degree in Human Resources, Organisational Development, or a related field preferred
- Demonstrated experience in career development or talent management
- Solid understanding of succession planning and retention strategies
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Organised, self-driven, and able to collaborate across departments
- Experience in the aged care or health sector.
- Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccination.
