THE ROLE:

We are seeking a new Food & Beverage Team Leader to work alongside a passionate and supportive hotel team. Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, your passion is good food and great beverages, and you know your way around a drink's menu. You can’t wait to move up the ladder and you set an example for everyone in your team! You will assist in leading the team and creating a dining experience that keeps our guest wanting more.

You will collaborate with our guests by:

  • Creating an outstanding employment experience for the Food and Beverage Collaborators
  • Leading by example and Championing our Guiding Principles to bring the best out of your team.
  • Providing a warm and genuine service experience
  • Anticipating and responding to tricky requests & concerns in a professional and timely manner and coaching your team to do the same.
  • Taking an active interest in providing on-the-job coaching and training to the Food & Drink guides.


ABOUT YOU:

We are looking to skilled and ambitious restaurant staff can display:

  • Considerable experience in Cafe/Coffee shop environments.
  • Demonstrated passion for the hospitality industry and speciality in high quality service.
  • Great attention to detail, being one step ahead of guests needs.
  • In-depth knowledge of sequence of service and product knowledge.
  • The passion to take on other ad-hoc duties as required
  • Ability to prioritise & work in fast-paced environment being able to keep high standards of service.
  • Friendly and confident communication skills.
  • QLD RSA essential
  • Available across various shifts including weekends, evenings and public holidays
  • Able to commit for a minimum of 6 months
