As a Data Engineering Team Lead, you will lead and run a small, sharp team responsible for building and maintaining robust, scalable data pipelines across multiple data systems - from relational and document databases to their central data warehouse (Snowflake).
You’ll work across the stack of ingestion, orchestration, monitoring, and transformation, while also coaching engineers, advocating for clean design, and making sure the data stays trustworthy and fresh.
This role is technical and people-focused. You’ll spend part of your time coding and designing systems, and part of your time supporting engineers, collaborating with team members, and unblocking cross-functional initiatives.

You will be communicating with and reporting to the Head of Engineering.

Required Skills
- Deep experience in building ELT/ETL pipelines and data warehousing architectures
- Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Redshift, BigQuery, or Synapse
- Strong Python and SQL skills
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Ability to lead with empathy, coach motivated engineers, and grow a team without becoming a bottleneck
- Experience with data orchestration tools (e.g. Airflow, Dagster, Prefect).
- Experience with data testing & data transformation tools (e.g. Great Expectations, dbt)
- Experience with code as IaC is plus. (eg. CDK, Terraform)
- A track record of building team culture and helping engineers thrive.
