About the opportunity

As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you’ll be responsible for creating innovative market engagement programs, which drive the CEFC’s positioning in market and delivering campaigns and activities that support the CEFC’s strategic investment priorities.


The role you’ll play:


As a Marketing and Communications Manager, you’ll be responsible for:

  • Collaborating across Public Affairs, Marketing and Communications team, Investment team and different business units to develop and implement marketing programs andcampaigns tailored to target audiences
  • Working with CEFC industry partners and other external stakeholders to develop and deliver best-in-class marketing engagement activities, leveraging the CEFC reputation to extend market reach
  • Contributing to the delivery of the broader Public Affairs, Marketing and Communications agenda, including the development of innovative and co-ordinated marketing campaigns and projects
  • Leading the planning and execution of CEFC-owned events and webinar activities, including forward planning, execution and reporting
  • Managing the CEFC Green Files program, including its strategy, planning and development and promotion
  • Contributing to the development of CEFC marketing content, including collateral, website, video, reports and other content as required
  • Contributing to the management and coordination of the CEFC sponsored Women in Sustainable Finance (WISF) events and initiatives


To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrated across various online and offline channels, with an adaptable communication style to meet the needs of the audience
  • A Strong digital focus with a proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms, including email marketing, webinar/event platforms, CRM systems and web publishing
  • A results orientation with a solutions-driven approach. The ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with teams; building rapport and productive relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate, be a creative thinker capable of strategic and tactical planning and execution
  • The ability to manage multiple deadlines, stakeholders, and projects while effectively prioritising tasks, persevering when faced with obstacles and pressure
  • Strong influencing, organisational, planning, and project management skills
  • Exceptional attention to detail.


Qualifications/experience:

  • Minimum of five years’ experience in planning, implementing and evaluating marketing and communications campaigns and programs
  • Demonstrated ability to work with a diverse range of internal teams and senior stakeholders
  • Prior experience in finance, sustainability or energy sector marketing, preferably B2B
  • Experience in managing external vendors, agencies and budgets
  • Experience with digital tools for Marketing such as Adobe Suite, Canva, and AI technologies (preferred)
  • Degree qualified in field related to marketing and communications.
