• Salary: 120k + 17.5k (car allowance) + commissions + super

Our client is a fast-growing, family-owned company expanding their footprint through specialist offshore cable coating services, and they are looking for a Business Development Manager who’s ready to take charge and accelerate their growth!

About the Role

Based in Forrestdale, this high-impact, autonomous role involves regular travel across Greater Perth as you lead their business growth efforts in the energy and resources sectors. You’ll work closely with leadership to identify strategic opportunities, build key partnerships, and expand their market presence.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop and execute strategies to unlock new business across target sectors
• Build and manage a strong pipeline by researching market trends and customer needs
• Win new clients and nurture existing relationships with tailored solutions
• Lead proposals, quoting, and contract negotiations to close deals
• Collaborate with marketing to boost brand presence via digital campaigns and industry events
• Represent the company confidently at trade shows and client meetings
• Monitor sales performance and provide actionable insights to shape future growth

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven success in business development or industrial sales, ideally in energy or resources
• Commercial acumen and ability to manage the full sales cycle independently
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
• Self-driven with the ability to work autonomously and within a team
• Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office

Bonus if you have:

• Marketing experience, industrial services background, or project management skills
• Knowledge of safety and compliance standards
