The opportunity

We’re looking for a Microsoft Fabric/Power BI Engineer to drive initiatives in empowering our client’s data-driven insights. This role is pivotal in shaping how Power BI is used across the organisation, and you will take ownership in establishing best practices, guiding technical implementations, and fostering a culture of self-service analytics.

You’ll be the go-to expert for setting up Power BI platform, helping teams unlock the full potential of their data through training, governance, and hands-on support.


What you’ll do

  • Establish and Maintain Best Practices: Define, document, and continuously improve Power BI standards, ensuring consistency, scalability, and performance across reports and dashboards.
  • Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the go-to Power BI expert, advising business units, analysts, and IT teams on optimal usage, architecture, and governance.
  • Run Learning Sessions: Design and deliver engaging training sessions, workshops, and knowledge-sharing forums to upskill internal teams.
  • Platform Governance: Support the setup, governance, and ongoing management of SEO-managed Microsoft Fabric and Power BI platforms.
  • Technical Support: Provide hands-on assistance and troubleshooting for complex Power BI issues, including data modelling, DAX optimization, and report performance tuning.
  • Advisory & Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the go-to Power BI expert, advising business units, analysts, and IT teams on optimal usage, architecture, and governance.


What You’ll Bring

  • Proven experience in Power BI consulting, enablement or enterprise BI strategy.
  • Deep knowledge of Power BI architecture, DAX, Power Query, and data visualisation best practices.
  • Experience with Microsoft Fabric
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills, with a passion for teaching and enabling others.
  • Familiarity with data governance, security, and compliance in enterprise organisations.
