Position Summary

We're seeking a Solutions Architect to lead the design and evolution of our critical infrastructure and systems. This role demands a deep technical foundation across cloud and on-premise environments, coupled with the critical ability to conduct in-depth reviews of application architectures and codebases. You'll ensure our systems are robust, scalable, and secure, bridging business needs with technical solutions while driving innovation and operational excellence.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Minimum 5+ years experience in ICT roles, with at least 2–3 years in architecture or design capacity.
• Solid knowledge of enterprise infrastructure — including networking, virtualisation, storage, and server environments.
• Practical, hands-on experience with AWS — able to work with core services (EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, etc.).
• Exposure to application delivery and deployment strategies (e.g. CI/CD pipelines, middleware, API integrations).
• Strong understanding of IT security, performance, and operational best practices.
• Ability to engage and communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in mid-sized or complex environments with mixed technology stacks.
  
  

Desirable Qualifications

• AWS Certification (e.g. Solutions Architect Associate or Professional)
• Familiarity with Microsoft Azure or hybrid-cloud architectures
• Experience in infrastructure automation (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, etc.)
• Knowledge of ITIL practices and solution governance frameworks
